Teacher Spotlight: Kip Spencer

Submitted by deon.youd on

Kip Spencer coaches boys wrestling and helps to coach the sophomore football team here at Spanish Fork High. This is his first year coaching here, and he is excited to be teaching here as well.

Coach Spencer grew up in Pleasant Grove, wanting to become a cowboy as he got older. But instead, he decided to coach here and stick with his wrestling tradition. He was also asked to help coach the sophomore football team, and he happily agreed to it.

Hogwarts Takes Over Spanish Fork High School

Submitted by deon.youd on

Hogwarts School briefly took over Spanish Fork High School on Friday, October 18, 2013 as students competed in the first spirit bowl assembly of the year.

The theme was Harry Potter and many of the students dressed up to show spirit for their class. Seniors were Gryffindor, juniors represented Sytherin, sophomores were Huffle Puff, and the faculty and staff were Hogwarts professors. We even had an appearance of the beloved character Hagrid thanks to football coach and financial literacy teacher Kirk Chambers.
