Is this goodbye? Carol Larsen, who taught Foods 1 and 2, Prostart, Human Development, Resource Foods and was an  FCCLA advisor left Spanish Fork High School at the end of the first term.

Larsen had taught at SF for five years and said she loves everything about it; the teachers, students, administration, and the environment. She said that she learned how to have compassion for others through her students, how to reach out for others and just have fun. Larsen said that the students is what she will miss the most, “just the relationships and getting to teach them.”

Larsen left SF to get married and just be a stay at home wife. Her favorite thing to cook would be aebleskivers, which are Danish puff pancakes.

“It’s just so much fun!” Larsen said about Prostart. She loves learning advanced skills and the variety of the things they do, like going to competitions.  “It’s great to see students take an idea and succeed and just grow through the program.”

SFHS will miss Miss Larsen.
