The Utah County Health Department is sponsoring a video contest for youth to demonstrate that they are not going to be targets for big tobacco. Youth ages 12 to 18 can enter, creating their own unique 30 second videos. Winners will receive cash prizes (1st Place - $500, 2nd Place - $300, and 3rd Place - $200). The first 100 participants will be a part of a free private screening of Divergent on
Spanish Fork High School student council is pleased to announce the 4th annual Homeless for a Night March 7/8, 2014. Homeless for a Night raises money for Tabitha's Way, a local food pantry and thrift shop.
Students at Homeless for a Night will give up the comforts of home to develop empathy and understanding for people who regularly go without. Students will also participate in hands-on service activities and a variety of fun activities throughout the night. All money raised will be donated to Tabitha's Way.

A student at SFHS has recently been diagnosed with Pertussis (whooping cough). The student is being kept at home, on antibiotics and will not return to school until cleared by a doctor.
Please read the attached letter from the Utah County Health Department. The letter will give you more information about Pertussis signs and symptoms and how to protect your child.

It is time for Spanish Fork High School's winter guard team to come together. The winter guard team will perform a new show, "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego."
Winter guard is for dancers, tumblers, and anyone else who wants to perform. No expereince is needed. It is a fun way to get to know new people and make some new friends.
Winter guard clinic will be held November 18, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Spanish Fork High School band room.

"Some of the people seemed like they weren't even close to hypnotized," said Tanner Parker, SFHS sophomore.
The Hypno-Hick explained that they were in a state of mind that they don't care what's happening. The people may have looked like they weren't in hypnosis but they were.
