Who cried “Wolf?”

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Hitting three home-runs and having eleven RBIs by herself. It was a fantastic game for Kylee Wolf. She didn’t really expect it happening. The first home run Wolf hit, she thought it was just a line drive and wasn’t going over. Little did she know it was a shot over the fence. She was rounding first base and realized that it was over and then she started jogging around the bases. Wolf’s second and third home runs were high but long pop ups, and they went over the fence. She said it was “luck.” We all know she can do this all the time if she wanted, and it wasn’t just luck.

Todd Griffiths of Spanish Fork High School’s debate team qualified for state debate in the Individual Event Oratory. Receiving excellent scores on all his ballots as he progressed through the rounds, he made it to the finals. The best of the best in each school gave their speech in the final oratory session, Todd being among these students. His speech was on being an American; those who’ve heard it are moved by the impact it has on one’s patriotism.
