What are Rock Solid Rewards?

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on

Every day teachers and staff members are looking for students who are doing positive things. They identify students by filling out a Rock Solid form outlining what the student did. Each Friday we draw several names to recognize students for their Rock Solid behavior. The scope of student excellence ranges from helping other students or teachers and general kindness to academic success. On Fridays, student winners for the week are notified, we take their picture, give them a treat, and tell them which teacher nominated them and why.

We Are Business Leaders of Tomorrow

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on

Twenty members of our Business Leaders of Tomorrow club, consisting of FBLA and DECA members, were excited to act as Santa this week as they responded to Santa letters written by local Kindergarten students. Our club members were able to write over 120 letters while dining on doughnuts and hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music. Thanks to everyone who made this service project a success!

Business Leaders of Tomorrow

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on

For our November activity, Spanish Fork High School's BLT club was pleased to have Brandon Gordon, Spanish Fork City Councilman and local business owner, come and speak with us while we feasted on Two Jacks pizza.  Brandon gave us a lot of great advice on how to become a business owner. He spoke about challenges and successes he has had in the businesses he has owned and advised us to make connections with people wherever you go -- you never know when you might need those connections in the future. Thanks for your time and valuable insight, Brandon.
