Freedom Festival Winners
We want to congratulate two of our amazing sophomores who won awards from the 2017 Freedom Festival. Madeline Johnson is the Liberty Award winner in the essay category and Ashley Noris is the winner of the art contest. Both of these awards come with cash prizes and scholorships. Great job ladies! We are proud to call you Dons!
FFA is ROCKSOLID
Spanish Fork FFA competed in their State Career Development Events this week. We had 32 students compete in 10 different competitions. We had 4 teams place in the top 5 and an additional 3 in the top 10 and 8 individuals in the top 11.

Teacher of the Year

FCCLA
Our FCCLA Club attended State Competition and we are pleased with their performance! Ashley Norris competed in Interior Design, creating an outstanding presentation of a remodeled Craftsman home and took 1st place in State and qualified and will be attending National Competition this July in Nashville, TN. We are thrilled with how well our students represented Spanish Fork High School, please congratulate the following if you see them:
Congrats to our SFHS Cheerleaders
Our SFHS cheerleaders did an amazing job this year at Nationals in California winning second overall for both the Varsity Intermediate Song Team and Varsity Intermediate Show Cheer. This is the best that SFHS cheer team has ever done at Nationals. Great job cheerleaders!!
Heston Anderson Breaks School Record
Heston was invited to compete at the Arcadia Invitational in California this weekend and set a new school record in the mile. He ran 4:17.89 which surpasses the 4:20.63 that Colby Frazier ran back in 2000. Congrats Heston!! Way to represent SFHS!
Heston Andersen Sets Record!!!
Heston Andersen set a new 4A state record on Saturday at the UVU Invite. He ran 1:50.26 in the 800 meters to beat the previous record set in 1982 of 1:52.55. Congratulations to Heston on an amazing achievement!!!
