Lady Dons Softball Off to a Great Start

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Our Spanish Fork High School softball team is off to a great start.  To begin their great season they played and won their first game against Pleasant Grove, with the ending score of 11-0.  Their second game was just as successful as the first. Playing Syracuse, they defeated the Titans with the score of 15-3. On Tuesday March 13, they play Grantsville High School.  Along with this game comes the Sunshine Tournament in St. George.  We wish the Lady Dons Good luck at both of these events as well as the many games to come.

SFHS Floriculture Students Prepare for Spring

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Students in Mrs. Smith's floriculture class prepare for the spring by getting their planting started! People don't realize how early you need to start planting for the season. It takes time and effort, but the students in her class really enjoy what they get to do. So far they have planted Cana Lilies, Petunias, Zinias, and all their other bedding plants.  Students have to keep a close eye on things and make sure they get enough water, sunlight and fertilizer. When the flowers get big enough to sale the students will then be in charge of that as well.

Dons Compete in Business Language Competition

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Ammy Trujillo, Amy Gomez, Katie Morris, and Maria Diaz were four students chosen to represent our school at a Business Language Competition at BYU on Friday, February 24. The girls had only a few days to prepare a presentation of their marketing plan…all in Spanish. They made a poster,  a PowerPoint and wrote up a report which they presented in front of two groups of three judges.
