Students at Spanish Fork High and Advanced Learning Center attended our Educators Rising Competition this past Wednesday, March 4th for students that want to become teachers. The following students placed at the competition in their categories.
-Ashlyn Losee (2nd)
-Katelyn Beckstead (2nd)
-Amber Duchateau (3rd)
Many more students worked really hard and did really well at the competition. We are excited these students are aspiring to become educators for their future careers.
May 9th is the mini parent/student/teacher conference time from 1:45-3:30pm. Double Detention creidt is offered to students who go to their teachers' rooms for academic support. Also, parents are encouraged to come and meet with their child's teachers in the teachers' rooms.
The CTE Expo is coming, and we want you to be a part of it! The CTE Expo will be held on May 14th from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. Admission is free to all Nebo students and family members. Plan a for a night out with your family and enjoy fun activities, food, student competitions, student showcases, and much more! Competitive Events: Do you think you're the next Big Shot Entrepreneur? Do you have mad digital graphics arts skills that are ready to be tested?
Max Colton made it to the final round of State Science Sterling Scholars. He had his final interview process last Thursday, and we are hoping it can be the #1 science scholar for the state. He is an extraordinary young man who understands and uses science thinking and processes.
