Submitted by ts on

On Friday, September 11, 2009, Spanish Fork High school hosted the annual Homecoming Assembly, put together and presented by the class of 1990. The assembly started out with a slideshow commemorating September eleventh, and then a posting of the colors by the fire fighters.  It also included the Masque club presenting their check to the firefighters. The class of 1990 challenged the current high school students to several different games, including our own version of family feud and a Rock Band
Competition. The National Champion Cheerleaders of 1990 showed the video of their competition, followed by a live performance! Homecoming royalty was also announced.

Afterwards, the student body went to the football field for a pep assembly to get everyone excited for the big game against Box Elder. The football team was escorted specially to the field by the SF Fire Department, and then the starting team and all senior players were cheered one at a time onto the field. There was a performance by the drill team and the “Las Enchiladas” and some lucky students had a chance to “dunk” the vice principles and even a Box Elder Bumblebee! The Homecoming Assembly was lots of fun for everyone involved.
