Students Published in Creative Communications

Recently held was the Creative Communications writing contest; this year’s theme was What is Important to you? When talking to Michael Cope, a contestant in the essay portion of the contest, he said, “I had to think for a bit on what was most important to me in my life, and I decided on my family. I wrote about how my family influences me and makes me a better person by helping me set my standards high. Then from them influencing me, I can influence the community.” Those who participated in this contest were able to put into perspective the things that really matter to them, and then wrote about it, so we can all learn from their thoughts and ideas. Now perhaps thinking about what is most important to them we can decide what most important to us. The published winners are Michael Cope, Gavin Hales, Jenessa Jorgensen, Michael Stone, and Philip Thomas.
