SFHS Seniors Aspire for a Higher Education

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
On Wednesday, October 13, Spanish Fork’s senior class had attended College Days hosted by SFHS counselors and Utah Higher Education Association. They had the opportunity to attend three thirty-five minute seminars from any Utah college of their choice. Each college had a representative that gave information about various college topics. They talked about housing, activities and tuition. However, scholarships were the greatest concern of most students. College Day was very beneficial to students. When asked what she liked best about college day, Randi Miller responded, “I loved all the information they gave.” She was able to see through all the false information she had heard and had concrete information that will help her make her college decisions easier. Seniors received a better idea of what each college has to offer, as well as seeing information packed power points and presentations. Seniors gained a better idea of the campus and gained more experience of the colleges.
