Preston Parrish- Head Football Coach

Spanish Fork High School is pleased to announce that Preston Parrish has been named as Head Football Coach.  Preston graduated from Bountiful High School and played under legendary Larry Wall where he was a two year starter and All State offensive and defensive lineman.  Following high school, Preston attended Portland State University where he was a four year football letterman and voted team captain his senior year.  He graduated from Portland State with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science in 2004 and earned a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix in 2007.

Preston has spent the last nine years at Davis High School being mentored by one of the best football coaches in the state of Utah, Ryan Bishop.  He served as the offensive and defensive line coach, linebackers coach; in 2012 he was appointed the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach for the Darts.  Under the direction of Coach Parrish, Davis High School was the top rated defense in Region I/II since 2014 to the present.

Preston brings many years of experience working with students on and off the football field.   He is an excellent teacher who cares about all students and spends many extra hours working with students to help them academically. He teach Sports Psychology, Civics and Government at Spanish Fork High School.   Preston is married and has a three year old son. Spanish Fork High School is extremely excited to have Preston lead the Dons football program for many years to come.
