Spanish Fork had the re-opening of North Park on August 28th. The new park has been completely re-modeled, and has much more to offer! There is less grass space than before, and more play ground area and water activities. The park is a great place for families to come for picnics, or to walk on the trail, or even to play on the playground. The water area is complete with shooting fountains that little children love to play in! The actual playground itself is much more modern, with a rock wall to climb, teeter-totters, a spider-web jungle gym, and much, much more! There is a portion of the North Park area that is designated for "big box" businesses, restaurants, and other retail establishments. The business aspect of the park is not yet developed due to the economy; however, it's expected to change within the next few years. For now, the park is just for fun, but in the near future there will be much more. North Park is an addition to Spanish Fork that the whole family will love now, and for many years to come! All ages including Spanish Fork High School students enjoy the new facilities.
