Students in Spanish Fork High School's Business department are earning certifications in Microsoft Office. The business department has been given the opportunity to administer the industry recognized MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Exams to students in Computer Technology.
MOS Exams allow students to demonstrate that they have the skills needed to get the most out of Office by earning a Microsoft Office Specialist certification in a specific Office program. According to industry experts, holding a MOS certification can earn an entry-level business employee as much as $16,000 more in annual salary than un-certified peers.
Students had the opportunity to get certified in 3 applications - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Students worked hard to gain the knowledge and skills needed to pass these exams and we are pleased with the results we had 1st semester! The following students earned certifications:
