Business Class and Chick-fil-A

Friday, October 14th, students in Mrs. Whittekiend's Business Management classes got to spend time with Scot Rasband, owner of Chick-fil-A in Spanish Fork. He shared his experience with buying a Chick-fil-A franchise, the steps he had to take to get his restaurant location up and running, and, to the students delight, he gave everyone a delicious chocolate chip cookie. The key takeaway from his presentation was: "Figure out what you value most and build a life and career around those values." It was a rewarding experience for students to hear first hand from a successful entrepreneur.
