SFHS Economics students swept the UVU Concurrent Enrollment Economics Competition held Thursday, April 14, 2022.  The competition had three components:  written tests, a poster competition, and a quiz bowl event.  Every student came home with gift cards for winning ($30 to $50).  Students participating were Joseph Andelin, Joseph Boyack, Isaac Chahua, Ben Dimmick and Natalie Olson.  Ben Dimmick placed 2nd overall in the written test; Joseph Boyack placed 3rd overall in the written test.  Isaac Chahua and Joseph Andelin placed 1st in the poster competition with their "Why Study Economics" poster, and the SFHS Quiz Bowl Team placed first as well, winning the entire competition by taking 1st Place overall. Students also had a tour of the brand new business building on UVU Campus.

Students captured four trophies and also won $3,000 from UVU for their Economics program.  Mrs. Jacobson is super proud of her students and hopes to see enrollment grow in this extremely beneficial concurrent enrollment class!   A big win for SFHS!!!
