Our track team had an amazing state track competition.  Culminating the teams overall success is Spanish Fork coming home with a state championship in the girls 4×200 relay.  Team members Jocelyn Hansbrow, Gracyn Cook, Miriam Pendleton and Kate Fallon ran to the state title and a new school record time of 1:45.04.  This time is the second fastest time ever run in 5A.  Congratulations to these girls.  Great note is that all four of these athletes are varsity soccer players for our SFHS soccer team.

Also, it might look like a repeat post, but the only repetitive action was how dominant the Spanish Fork Girls relay team members were at earning a second state title.  This time it was in the 4×100 relay.  Team members Jocelyn Hansbrow, Emily Gwilliam, Kate Fallon and Miriam Pendleton ran a season best 49.00 seconds which was also the fastest time in all 6 classes in winning the 5A state title.

Other major accomplishments from state track:

Girls 4×800 set a new school record in the 4x800m relay in a time of 10:27.68  Team members: Emma Fox, Sarah Seeley, Camryn Marshall, Sophie Riding
