Jennifer Fenton Interns at Spanish Fork Clinic

From August to January, Jennifer Fenton a senior at Spanish Fork High School has interned at the Spanish Fork Clinic in the Radiology Department. Though she is coming to a close in her internship, she has given us some insight on what she does on a daily basis, as well as her favorite part of her internship. As a start, she develops x-rays and fills out computer work about the patients. This alone has helped her deicide what she wants to do as a career which she informed us is to be a radiologist, not a radiologist technician. She says she wants to be the actual doctor and play the role in that state. Jen was asked Jen her favorite part of her internship, and she responded by saying “I liked getting to go through the x-rays and see what was wrong. The internship also has helped me decide even further into my career choice. Because of what I learned, I suggest to anyone who wants to do an internship to go for it because it will help you decide what you want before you go through all the training you need in case you don’t like it.” Jen has found her interest better through the internship program and is very content with the choice she made to try it out. We acknowledge Jens work and encourage students to try out the internship program.
