Phantom of the Opera Tickets Available Online
SPANISH FORK, Utah (November 12, 2010)—Tickets to the upcoming premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera at Spanish Fork High School are now available online at secure.myschoolfees.com. Those interested in purchasing tickets can register as a new user through the website, select “Utah – Nebo – Spanish Fork High,” and make a public payment. Tickets are priced at $5.00 for the 7:30 p.m. performances on December 3rd and 6th as well as the 1:00 matinee on Saturday, December 4th. Opening night pre-sale tickets for the evening of Thursday, December 2nd are currently offered at the introductory price of $3.00.
Although Webber’s famous rock-opera has graced Broadway stages and national tours for more than two decades, it has never before been released for general production. SFHS is one of the first organizations in the nation awarded the rights to perform Phantom of the Opera.
“Demand for tickets has been so high that we have decided to start selling them early,” states production stage manager, Keli Adams. “Everywhere we go people are begging to secure their seats. We are expecting a great turnout.”
Jen Grzybowki, Vice President of Publicity for the school’s International Thespian Society chapter, describes herself as “thrilled” with the public’s enthusiastic response to the project. “With such a high-demand show, we had to get innovative with ways to sell. We are excited to offer an online box office for the first time in the school’s history.”
Tickets can also be purchased at Boothe Brothers Music in Spanish Fork as well as through SFHS’s finance office.
