Students Attend State Solo and Ensemble at Lone Peak

State Solo/Ensemble was held on April 30th, 2011 at Lone Peak High School. Those that performed and were adjudicated were Bonnie Miller, Randi Miller, Morgan Hansen, Jessica Christley, Jacob Warner and a small mixed ensemble. The scores go as follows: l, l-, ll+, ll, ll-, etc. A l is equivalent to a superior rating, a ll to an excellent rating and so on and so forth. The mixed ensemble received straight superior ratings singing “Je ne lose dire.” The mixed ensemble consisted of Nic Olsen, Hannah Carson, Lydia Money, Bonnie Miller, Matt Russell, Kelton Davis, Jared Tuckett, and Todd Griffiths. There were also quite a few soloists who also participated. Jacob Warner was the only boy who was qualified to go; he received a l-. Both Randi Miller and Bonnie Miller also received l-. Jessica Christley received a ll+ and Morgan Hansen a ll. Good job to those who participated and congratulations!
