The Red and Gray game was described by many as a great atmosphere and a preview of how the New Look Dons will perform this season. The game not only featured the returning seniors but it featured several standout players with bright futures in Spanish Fork Basketball. Elliot Naulu, Hayden Nelson, and Andy Perkins all Juniors carried a prominent role in this year’s Red and Gray Game. On the season both teams have several sophomores who are posed to make an impact as well. “This year the boys look to win every home game. Although we’re in a tough region and we are undersized, we can compete with anyone if we can get out and use our athleticism.” – Coach Jordan Rogers. A Red and Gray showcase such as this years, is not only a great opportunity to introduce the teams to the student body but it is also a great learning experience for the players. “I don’t think we can underestimate anyone; we are going to have to continue to work hard in order to win.” –Haileigh Emerine, returning senior for the SF Lady Dons. This year’s Red and Gray game was overall a very promising experience which leaves us all with high hopes for the Spanish Fork Basketball Season.
