NHS Officers Planning Activities 263.36 KB
This last Tuesday, September 7, the NHS officers held a meeting at Spanish Fork High School planning up some of the best service projects yet. With the help of a new plan of funding for these service projects, which involves students handing out fliers around town to leave porch lights on during a certain evening if citizens would like to donate, students plan to bring in more donations than ever into the service funds of NHS. After the meeting the officers decided that these funds will be used for projects over the course of the year such as providing thanksgiving dinner to the less fortunate who can’t afford it, bringing supplies to the food banks, and creating humanitarian kits to send to those who can barely get along and need food. Setting up groups and initiating the new members quickly, the NHS is coming on its way to make a great, service filled, new year!
