The boys and girls track teams had a successful state track meet.  The boys team finished in the top ten.

The highlight of the state meet was having our Boys Sprint Medley relay team consisting of Matthew Bradford,  Dallas Eyere, Spencer James and Heston Andersen winning the state title.  They also set a school record by running a time of 3:34.52.

Heston Andersen took 2nd in the 800 meters, Spencer James took 2nd in the 110meter hurdles and Josh Trafny finished 6th in the javelin to round out the scoring for the team.

McKee Mentors

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on Wed, 05/10/2017 - 08:11

Key Club leaders recently prepared lunch (a monthly reward) for McKee Mentors and held drawings for prizes for mentors who consistently sacrificed personal intervention time to help fellow students in Math, AP Biology, and Medical Anatomy this year. This is a new service program designed and administered by Key Club students. We appreciated the support of local business donors: Pacific Horizon Credit Union and Magleby's. These businesses provided many prizes for our hard-working mentors.

Summer Reading Opportunities

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on Tue, 05/09/2017 - 09:14

Nebo School District is gearing up for summer break. While summer presents an opportunity to relax and enjoy the sunshine, we want our students to continue to find ways to learn while away from the classroom.

We have an exciting reading service available through OverDrive (http://***.lib.overdrive.com). The OverDrive collection provides free 24/7 access to eBooks and audiobooks. What better way to engage your student’s mind than through reading?
