Rules of Order and Procedure

The council has approximately $237,024.83 to spend to help students increase their learning this year. The council also reviews and changes the School Improvement Plan/TSSA Plan and the monies spent with Trustlands funds to benefit our students.

Parents and community members are welcome to attend any scheduled meeting. If you have input on school matter that is relevant to Spanish Fork High, please contact a member of the council to discuss your input. The council will then decide the appropriate next step.

Nominations are held at the beginning of each school year and any parent who has a student in our school for the upcoming year may run. Election times and instructions will be made available on our website, social media, and through email at the beginning of the school year as well. We encourage all interested parents to be a part of the School Community Council. Each term on the council consists of serving for 2 years. There are no term limits for parents. They may serve if they have a child attending the school during the two-year term. A Chair and Vice Chair are nominated each year for SCC. Once a motion is made for someone to serve in these capacities, it must be seconded, and voted upon. If a council member moves away or fails to attend meetings regularly, their position may be filled by another person whom the council selects.

Elections: If you are interested in serving on our School Community Council this year, please Email Facilitator by Sunday, September 2nd to be added to this year's ballot
***VOTING NOW CLOSED***
Voting will take place the week of Labor Day. Vote through the ballot box in the SFHS Main Office (7:30 am - 3:30 pm) or via this GoogleForm
