On Saturday, December 5th, the SFHS Book Club had an activity where they recorded children’s books on tapes for local elementary schools. These books included some Christmas stories and The Hundred Dresses by Eleanor Estes and Tracker by Gary Paulsen. Through this service project, the Book Club hoped to achieve their goal of helping students of all ages to get excited about books. “I think anytime you can help young readers get hooked on reading, then you’re doing a good thing,” said Mrs. Gardner, the club advisor, about this service project.

He meets every week to get assignments for events, then goes out and take the pictures during the week at the different events, uploads them to the computer, picks the best ones and sends them in to the office. Davis enjoys working at this internship and learns a lot. “I really enjoy it.
