Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Students from Spanish Fork High School have the opportunity of being in a very special program available in only a select few schools in the area; this program is called Auto Collision and Repair. Students that have completed a “Project” put their car in a show at Spanish Fork High School during the school day of May 21, 2010. They showed off their repairs and modifications on their cars, and sat back and relaxed after a hard year of collision repair!

SFHS Choir Shines

The SFHS choirs had an excellent performance on Tuesday, May 19. There was love, patriotism, with every emotion in between. Cameron Fuller had an excellent solo in a spiritual piece. He portrayed a slave wanting to free his people; he sang with such enthusiasm the audience felt like they were the slave with a new found hope of freedom. Bonnie Miller ended the night with a fantastic solo that took the audiences’ breath away with the emotions on the stage. Randy Miller moved some of the audience to tears with her amazing solo opera piece; she had a lot to offer to the show that night.

SFHS Student Council Sponsors BBQ Lunch for Student Body

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
As the 2009-2010 school year came to an end the senior council planned a BBQ at lunch time on Friday the 21st, the last day of school for the seniors. This was also yearbook day for the whole school. So if you’re looking for a delicious cheap lunch on Friday afternoon stop on by the grassy common area and grab yourself some grub. It should be oodles of fun and impeccably scrumptious! Senior council has given lots of time and effort into planning this fabulous event, so come on out and join the fun. Hope to see you there!

Last week at Spanish Fork High School, many students were taking the AP tests for their Advanced Placement Classes. Gymnasiums were designated for the students that were taking the test and daily announcements were delayed. Many AP classes are offered at the high school. Taylor Allred, a student at Spanish Fork High School, said that it took him about four hours to complete. There were more than ten different AP tests including Chemistry, Physics, and Pre-Calculus. Each test had about thirty students that took it.

On the 8th of May, Spanish Fork High School had their Sadie Hawkins dance, the last dance of the year. Our school’s FCCLA club sponsored the event, and the theme was ”Sadie’s in the 80s.” Although many didn’t follow the theme exactly, many girls took the opportunity to ask that special date they’ve been wanting all year long and had a great time at the dance. Seeing how many people were there partying at the dance, it was a great outcome. Amberly Larsen states, “It was my birthday and everyone sang to me at the dance.
