SFHS Kenzie Beckstrom Makes a Hole In One

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
In golf, a hole in one is just about as likely as winning the lottery in Utah. Impossible. But one of our very own Lady Don golfers succeeded in sinking the ball in a single shot. It was April 20, 2011, on a very tricky par 3 at Gladstan golf course. On the second hole, Kenzie Beckstrom smacked a high lofting shot with her pitching wedge. Kenzie said, “It landed on the green, and I expected it to be an easy putt for a birdie.” To her surprise, it just kept rolling straight for the cup. The suspense mounted as she and her fellow golfers watched the gradual descent towards the pin.
