4A State Debate was held last week at the new West Lake High School. Mackenzi Berns and Sam Golightly took 5th place in Policy Dabate and got into the Quarter Fianals. Other members of our debate team did well in public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, Oratory, Impromptu Speaking and Student Congress. Congratulations on a job well done.

The Book Club is meeting at lunch on this Friday, March 26th in the library. Get your lunch quickly and get to the meeting asap.

Auditions for next year's Dance Company 2011 will be held next week on March 31st. Workshops for this audition will be held next Monday and Tuesday, March 29th and 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the high school dance room. You can pick up an application form in the front office or from Mrs. Mason. In addition to a group routine, you'll be asked to present a short dance solo for the judges. Congratulations to the boys tennis team that competed in a 16 team tennis tournament in St. George over the weekend. The boys took first place in the tournament. Trevor West, Cade Sermersein, Taylor Christensen, Braden Beckstrom, Tyrel Prior, Jesse Ross, and Ben Rosenbaum are the boys on the varsity. Congratulate them on their outstanding performance.

National Honor Society is accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year!!!
To apply for NHS membership, students must meet the following requirements:
*At least 3.7 Cumulative GPA
*No tardy or attendance problems
*No NC or NG status
*Satisfactory citizenship
Applications can be picked up in Room 8 and may be returned to Mrs. Dart anytime between March 9 - April 1, 2010. Final deadline for all applications is Thursday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m. No applications will be accepted after this date. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
