Dons Baseball Keeps Rolling by Payton Loreen The Spanish Fork Dons Baseball program has accomplished a lot over the past month. They started off by travelling down to St. George to participate in the Dixie Sunshine Tournament. After winning another consecutive tournament, they traveled back to Spanish Fork for a week of rest before travelling down to Scottsdale, Arizona. Here they would play in the Big League Dugout National Invitational, one of the most prestigious national tournaments in the nation. The Dons won their pool to face off against the number one ranked Bishop Gorman from Las Vegas. Spanish Fork persevered to win 3-2 after a good team effort. The team was in the national spotlight before but after beating Bishop Gorman, they are getting more attention now more than ever. They now seek to continue their good play into region after some quality wins over Maple Mountain and Payson.
