Spanish Fork DECA Wins at State

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
During Thursday and Friday of this past week, the Spanish Fork High School DECA Team had the opportunity to compete at a state level with business students from schools all across Utah. At this state event the team of Kathne Madsen and Austin Vincent received medals as state finalists and while competing in the individual events, and Tanner Holt placed first place in Sport Marketing. Based off of his performance, Tanner will be going on to Nationals. The DECA Club of Spanish Fork High School rocks and the people who went on these competitions had fun ranging from the competing, to fun side events such as Sumo suit wrestling. Based off of the success and positive affirmations of the DECA members, it is fair to say, “SFHS DECA will be looking to continue to win at these events and is one of the clubs where members can excel at competition and in learning experiences.”
