Last week was junior week at Spanish Fork High School: which included a fun activity every day. On Tuesday to kick of the week everyone received a bottle of bubbles because you're never too old to enjoy the magic of blowing bubbles! Also on Tuesday the juniors got out for lunch 10 minutes earlier than the rest of us; which Ashley Voss said was "freaking Awesome! The best part of junior week!" Wednesday was a little more contingent upon the rest of the student body; it was "high-five a junior" day. It created an even friendlier, brighter atmosphere than usual, to see everyone giving each other high-fives and uplifting one another. Thursday night was a movie night; the movie was "Road to Glory" and the turn-out was great. Friday was a fabulously fun lunch activity, nacho day! And who doesn't love nachos? Especially for $1. Friday night was the big Maple Mountain vs. Spanish Fork basket ball game, which we won in overtime, crazy Awesome! And the support for Spanish Fork was incredible, a whole sea of black to intimidate our opponents, way to go Spanish Fork! The grand finale was Recession! Saturday night was a sports themed dance, the cheapest dance of the year. This year Recession was bigger, more emphasized and better attended than in years past, due to the dedication of the junior council, and the spirit of Spanish Fork High School. All in all it was a very successful week, enjoyed by not only the juniors but the entire student body and staff. Thank you for the support Spanish Fork Dons, and thank you for the party of a week, council and teachers!
