Auto Body Car Show Revs Up Students

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Students from Spanish Fork High School have the opportunity of being in a very special program available in only a select few schools in the area; this program is called Auto Collision and Repair. Students that have completed a “Project” put their car in a show at Spanish Fork High School during the school day of May 21, 2010. They showed off their repairs and modifications on their cars, and sat back and relaxed after a hard year of collision repair! Spanish Fork has had a lot of cars restored by dent repair, fiberglass repair, modifications to the body style, being primed and painted, and all other body work activities not listed. The students got the attention they deserved for all their hard work. Also one to be acknowledged is Mr. Taylor, the auto collision and repair teacher. He has given much of his time to help these students and provided the equipment necessary to get the job done. Thank you Mr. Taylor! Winners of the Car Show: Best of Show – Tyler Boyack, 1967 Mustang; Custom Painting, Hugo Soto; Best Truck (full size), Philip Thomas; Best Truck (small pickup), Mitchell Rucker; John Deere Choice Award, Ryan Peterson; Spot Repair Refinishing, Shon Tomadakis; Best Bronco, Chet Harmer.
