Trikefest is this Saturday, April 23, at the SF Fairgrounds from 9am-5pm. This is a fun event to see, and be seen. There will be some pretty heavy hitters as far as sponsors this year. Two that the students will recognize are Nitro Circus and DieselSellerz, beyond them there are at least 20 other vendors/sponsors who will be giving away prizes to the contestants.

Today was the State Goalball Tournament in Salt Lake.  Our own SFHS's Jaden Albrecht, and his team took first place.
Goalball is a team sport for the blind and visually impaired.  All athletes are wear eye shades to ensure that no one can see anything.  They throw a three pound, hard rubber ball with bells in it at the opposing teams goal.  Three team members guard the goal, using their bodies to block the ball.

6th Annual Homeless for a Night

Submitted by deon.youd on

SFHS's 6th annual Homeless for a Night is coming up on Friday March 4, 2016. Students can register for the event in the finance office.

Homeless for a Night (HFAN)  is an all-night fundraising activity where students give up the comforts of home for one night to raise money for Tabitha's Way, a food pantry in Spanish Fork. HFAN also helps students learn empathy for those who have less by asking them to go without sleep and some of the things they are used to having at home.
