SFHS FFA gives Gift of Love

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on

Spanish Fork FFA gave a gift of love to the Festival of Trees held in Sandy Utah. This year the officers chose the theme of "Color Christmas." Students donated over 250 coloring books, sets of crayons, markers, and colored pencils to help with the tree. In addition, FFA members spent time making and coloring ornaments. We would like to thank all of those who made the tree a success. The officers delivered the tree Monday, November 28 to the South Towne Expo Center. All the donated trees were auctioned off with all the proceeds going to the Primary Children's Medical Center.

SFHS Welding Builds and Donates Special “Social Butterfly” Christmas Tree in Memory of Kiplyn Davis

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on

A special tree that was constructed in the welding shop this year and it has special meaning; the tree was built to honor a former Don, Kiplyn Davis. This would mark her 20th year reunion as a Spanish Fork graduate. Her mother stated that, “Kiplyn was a 15 year old sophomore when she went missing from SFHS on May 2nd 1995. Although it is known she was murdered, her body has never been located. Her life ended too soon. Her family would never see her dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher, having a marriage in an LDS temple and being a mother come true.
