College Application Week

Leslie Swenson

Utah College Application Week was a great success for Spanish Fork High School. All Seniors had the opportunity to fill out a college application with the assistance of our counselors and college reps. Dixie State University, Southern Utah University and Snow College offered application waivers for this week only so students were able to apply for free. All students were challenged to wear as much college 'swag' as they could on Thursday, and the winners received a Sip N' Gift Card.

This past weekend the UMEA held it's annual Red Rocks Marching Band Invitational at Dixie State University in conjunction with the State Finals for marching bands all across Utah. The Spanish Fork Marching Band competed against 10 other bands in Class1A at the Red Rocks MB Competition. The SF Dons had an amazing performance and claimed the First Place win along with sweeping all four Caption Awards in their 1A Division. This performance also qualified them to compete in the State Finals that same evening.  Their evening performance then earned them their second consecutive 1A State Championship title! We would like to congratulate Mr. Roberts and the Spanish Fork Marching Dons! ROCK SOLID PRIDE!
