After graduating from Brigham Young University, Taryn Bodine because a teacher. She has been teaching for two years, but this is her first year at Spanish Fork High School, and she loves it.

"Everyone is so nice and has school pride," Bodine says with a smile on her face. "The students, teachers, and administration are just amazing." She doesn't find anything she dislikes about SFHS.

Taryn Bodine was born and raised in Orem, Utah, and graduated from Orem High School. She served an LDS mission in Thailand, and she says she would like to go back to visit and travel.

Bodine teaches Child Development and Foods 1 and 2. Bodine says, "I've always wanted to be a teacher or a doctor." Growing up she used to play school and pretend she was a teacher.

Bodine's favorite song is "Lucky" by Colbie Caillet and Jason Mraz because her husband surprised her at her wedding and sang it to her. Her favorite movie is whatever she watched recently, and she loves bright colors.

Ryan Kunzler, whose classroom is right next to Bodine's says, "She's super great! I know her students love her."

Kelsie Christensen, junior at SFHS, says, "I like her personality and how she can get along with all her students."
