This past weekend the Spanish Fork Swim team participated at the region swim meet in Uintah. The team’s hard work was seen not only by many members cutting significant amounts of time off their races, but placing second overall in region. Along with taking second, many swimmers qualified for state in their individual races. Jesse Roberts took the gold medal for Spanish Fork in the 100 yard freestyle swimming a 49:49. While, Colten Christensen swam well, dropping in his 200 yard freestyle time to a 1:58. Not only did the swimmers do well in their individual events but all 3 of the boy’s relay teams and the girl’s 200 freestyle relay teams are qualified to for state. Great job Spanish Fork High School Swimmers.
