Jamie Wright, senior at Spanish Fork High School, is a Daily Herald student of the week. Wright was featured in the newspaper October 15, 2014

"I think it's really cool that they wanted me to be student of the week. It's a privilege," said Wright.

Wright is involved in many activities at Spanish Fork High. She serves as the president of SF's chapter of the National Honor Society as well as a member of the leadership board for REACH, a program dedicated to helping students feel connected and valued. Wright is also a member of the golf team and plays guitar in a band.

Wright says she loves Spanish Fork High.

"The teachers are great, and we have great spirit here," she said.

Wright has advice for other students just starting out in high school.

"Get involved," she said. "It makes your whole experience more fun. Work hard and get good grades. That determines who you'll be."
