Take a bow. The Shakespeare team brought 3rd place overall home to Spanish Fork High School after their competition at Southern Utah University in Cedar City October 3 through October 5.
The SFHS team competed against 30 other schools from Utah and neighboring states.
Kenny White and Jessica Peabody placed first with their scene from Measure for Measure. They each received a $1000 scholarship to an acting camp at SUU.
"The entire thing was fantastic," said White. "I enjoyed spending time with my friends and making new ones all while doing one of my favorite things."
The amazing Shakespeare team will be in action Friday, October 18, 2013 in the SFHS auditorium as they perform their Shakespeare Showcase. The show begins at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $2.00.
