Spanish Fork High School’s Japanese Club assembled on Wednesday to learn the Algorithm March; a march in the round from a Japanese children’s television show called The Pythagoras Switch. This march has gained incredible popularity over the internet and has even been performed by various prison inmates. The students gathered in the school commons to watch the original video (both the solitary version and with ninja accompaniment) on the large screen that regularly shows the SFHS website. They learned and performed the march in front of all the students talking in the commons; much to the confusion of multiple onlookers. The club plans to continue this annual tradition, as well as to keep marching throughout weekly activities.
