Our Counselors visited the University of Utah and were able to get in on all the up and coming things happening at the U! The University of Utah is a great school and is ranked in the Top 100 of all universities in the World! The U of U has refined their admission process from the former "admissions index criteria" to a new, "holistic approach." They now consider both academic preparation as well as personal achievements when determining who they will accept. The counselors were able to learn some helpful tips about filling out the application, so if you are planning to apply- go see the counselors! Two things you will want to be certain to do if you are planning on going to the U are as follows: make sure you apply by December 1st and make sure to send your ACT scores directly to the University! The counselors are unable to send your scores; you need to send them from act.org, or list them as one of the schools to have your scores sent to when taking the ACT.
