We are excited to let you know about a service opportunity your student may participate in. Spanish Fork High School has teamed up with Make-A-Wish Utah to raise money to grant the wish of a 6-year-old Spanish Fork girl who dreams of meeting Prince Charming at Disney World.

In order to raise money for this cause, we are hosting our 7th annual Homeless for A Night or HFAN. The event is a late-night, multi-school event scheduled for March 10th/11th in the SFHS gyms from 6 PM to 2 AM. This year’s HFAN will include a stomp, a movie, games, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a photo booth, food, friends, and fun. The registration for the event is $15 per person in advance and $20 at the door. HFAN is meant raise money and awareness for our charity in a safe, secure, friendly environment. Registration forms can be picked at any Nebo School District finance office now through March 10.

In addition to HFAN, we are selling wristband bracelets for $2. The bracelets say “Stacy’s Wish,” and all of the proceeds from the sale of them will be donated to Make-A-Wish. We are also offering two hours of detention credit for $5 and two hours of credit recovery credit for $5. Again, all money raised will support our cause.

We encourage you to talk to your student about this opportunity. We hope to have as many students as possible join us in supporting Make-A-Wish as we make a difference in the lives of our community members.

** Make-a-Wish Detention Deal: In conjunction with the Make-a-Wish project, we are offering a one-time deal for students to pay $5 for 2 hours of detention or credit recovery. If they pay $10, they can receive 2 hours of detention credit and 2 hours of credit recovery time. Just pay the finance office and let them know it is for the Make-a-Wish.
