Teacher of the Week #14

Submitted by bonnie.beckstead on

Our teacher of the Week #14 is our amazing ASL teacher Dione Hayward. Mrs. Hayward was nominated because, "Hayward always makes sure to call me by my name, and take an interest in me personally. Because of this, I feel encouraged and comfortable to learn and push myself even when I wouldn't normally. She makes me feel like I am more than just a number and genuinely cares about my success." Thank you Mrs. Hayward! You are awesome!

She cares about her students and teaches us that being kind is more important than anything. She really cares that your day is going well. I am so grateful for her.” Thank you Mrs. Carter for all you do to make SFHS amazing!

Our Business and Marketing classes at SFHS strive to give students hands-on experience, real-world application, and valuable skills they can use in order to become successful in a job/career right out of high school.  In Mrs. Ford’s Business Office Specialist class, students have the unique opportunity to become Microsoft Office Specialists by taking the industry-recognized MOS exams for Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.

SFHS Excited for Lacrosse!

Submitted by seth.spainhower on

Lacrosse has officially been sanctioned as a UHSAA sport! Nebo School District will be hosting its first season as a spring sport starting in 2021. The opportunity to play lacrosse will be available to all genders. Right now we are needing to gage interest in the sport so we can finalize plans across the district. If you are interested in playing lacrosse or wanting any further information, please talk to our Athletic Director, Mr. Dudley. We are all very excited for this opportunity!
