Stomp Out Hunger

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
In 2008, 49.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, 32.4 million adults and 16.7 million children lived without food in their homes. These days families don’t have enough money to buy food for their families so they go without. Spanish Fork FFA didn’t like those statistics and wanted to do something about it so they held a food drive on Friday, Nov. 19th. In order to get the High School students better involved in the school food drive, the FFA made it into a competition between the B2 classes.

“Awesome!” “Amazing!” These were just some of the words used to describe the new Harry Potter movie which was recently viewed by the students of Spanish Fork High. Late into the evening of Friday, November 19th, students of all creeds and social backgrounds gathered in unity to witness Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and the lovely Hermione (Emma Watson) struggle against the Dark Lord. Hosted by our very own SFHS Book Club, this screening was a roaring success.
